What are your opening hours?Open / Close
In Auckland: 7.30am to 5pm weekdays. Saturdays 8am to 12 noon. In Christchurch: 8am to 5pm weekdays. Saturdays free callout service 8am to 12noon.
Is all your hire equipment Site Safe compliant?Open / Close
Yes. All our hire equipment carries appropriate test tags as required by NZ regulations and law
I don’t want a quote, I just want someone to phone me!Open / Close
Just fill in the request box on the quote page with “call me” and your phone number.
Do you accept credit cards?Open / Close
Yes. We accept VISA, Mastercard, and all major Eftpos cards (not American Express, Diners Club or BarterCard, at present)
Can I pay by direct credit?Open / Close
Yes. Our bank account details are printed on the bottom of each invoice, or can be provided by fax or email on request
Do you have trained personnel on the phone who can help me?Open / Close
Yes. Our staff are specially trained, and have a combined 85 years experience in the hydraulic tool industry.
What about after-hours?Open / Close
There is a trained engineer on call 24/7 at 0800 48 2000
What if I don’t know the exact tool I want?Open / Close
If you tell us what job you are trying to do, our knowledgeable staff will guide you towards the correct tool.
What if I don’t have an account with you?Open / Close
You can still hire or buy tools from HTC by paying with a credit card or direct credit to our bank account.
Can you send my quote by email?Open / Close
Yes. Just fill in the email address box on the quote page.
Is insurance included in the hire rate?Open / Close
No. A damage waiver is charged separately.
What is the minimum hire period?Open / Close
4 hours from the time of collection.
My ram will extend but won’t returnOpen / Close
If the coupler is a screw together, check that your coupler is done up completely.
